Zero Dark 30 Means Nighttime

How come you're not running right now?
No, seriously, grab some headphones and go for a run while you listen.

Peter is reminded of the power of the running community. Bryan is reminded that the Soul Searching Solstice Run is going to be over nine hours. And everyone is reminded to come up with a costume idea for the Crankle 2K in Millinocket. Plus, we check out some HYWRTians’s posts from a recent SATSTATCHAT.

Crankle and Kettle Bells

Bryan and Peter are back in person and comparing running notes. The Chaugust wrap-ups are still coming in via Voice Memos. We hear from James McCabe, Michael Goff, and even Dave Macklem from Japan! Chaugust is over, but the Chyear goes on!

Peter and Bryan wrap up their 2026 Chaugust experiences. The month was full of runs, ice cream, books, journaling, and no bread. Then we dial up the voice memos and hear from Soggy Rob, Laurie from Maine, Mary from Maine, Mark Rayburn, and Marathon George Woodward.

Chaugust Check In Week 2

We are in week 2 of Chaugust and time to check in on our progress. Peter is not eating bread but is eating 31 different flavors of ice cream while completing his 5k a day. Bryan forgot his big book about the Constitution to read while on vacation but is making up for it by getting all his runs in. And both admit that the journaling needs to stay a priority, as it is the secret to a successful Chaugust. Plus messages and voice memoooooos from Judy, Evan, and of course, Mary from Maine.
